Arlington and NoVA DWI/DUI Defense
Former Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Who Understands How DWI/DUI Cases are Investigated and Prosecuted in Arlington and NoVA
Why Daniel for DWI/DUI Defense?
As an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Arlington County, Daniel personally handled over 100 DWI/DUI cases as lead prosecutor. He has tried DWI/DUI cases in both the General District Court and the Circuit Court and argued cases in both judge-only and jury trials.
He knows how police officers investigate and prepare for DWI/DUI cases. As a prosecutor, he worked with a countless number of police officers across Northern Virginia— to include those from Arlington County Police Department, Virginia State Police, and Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority Police Department— for DWI/DUI cases. Daniel would often meet with midnight shift police officers in the dawn hours after their shift in his office to prepare them for DWI/DUI trials.
Daniel has gone through and completed the same Standard Field Sobriety Testing Course that police officers must complete to investigate DWI/DUI cases. He understands what the officers are supposed to do in their investigation and how to attack the prosecutor’s case when the officers fail to follow the standard procedure.
He has worked closely with expert scientists from Virginia Department of Forensic Science and understands the important details in blood-draw DWI/DUI cases.
Daniel is a member of the National College of DUI Defense, a premier professional organization comprised of some of most experienced and dedicated DWI/DUI defense attorneys from across the United States.
